Totally unnecessary, but nice.Įdit: If you ever notice your Iron Golem lost the meditation aura, don't panic. Love casting it once and hitting the whole screen. This also means a summon can give you an aura from certain items as well in addition to your own gear and mercenary. This means if you make a golem from a more expensive item, you can keep it in between games. So I would go with golem mastery, and I like putting some extra points into Amp damage for the bigger radius. So, with the latest patch notes if you summon an iron golem from charges it will stay on your account between games as long as you keep that item equipped when 2.5 goes live. At some points the Iron Golem will drop the insight aura and the only way to get it back is to make a new game. I put an obedience on him and that let me drop guillames and put andariels Visage on him. I have been making Iron Golems out of Insight polearms for the aura. I did the same as you, meditation aura on the golem frees my merc up. I'm on the hunt for a low tier ethereal polearm so I can have an ethereal insight golem :). Don't care about base for the golem beyond the 4os so I grab any polearm that will work. I ran into my iron golem despawning before enigma, but with teleporting I have had the same golem for over a week now and I have farmed two spair insight polearms for replacements. Clay golem is good and super useful, but I would rather go with an Insight iron golem if/when you get enigma.
